Owner of Lil Sprouts Pediatric Therapies
I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Anatomy and Neuroscience from Colorado State University. I then received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. I have worked in a variety of pediatric settings including: public school system, pediatric home health, and pediatric private practice clinic. Some of my specialized training areas include: SOS Approach to Feeding, Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Training for Vestibular Processing, Handwriting Without Tears, and Beckman Oral Motor Approach. I have experience working with children with a wide range of diagnoses and I enjoy connecting with families!
I started Lil Sprouts Pediatric Therapies in order to help support parents, teachers, and education programs. In my experience, I have seen the most progress when home strategies are set up and implemented. Lil Sprouts Pediatric Therapies is here to help with setting up those home strategies so parents feel supported and children have the tools they need.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 young daughters.
My Approach
I use a child and family centered approach which allows me to connect with the kiddo and to provide a customized therapy approach. As a mother of 2 young girls who are constantly exploring their own sensory regulation needs, I understand the daily challenges that go along with it. My goal is to provide guidance specific to each family’s needs so that home activities fit in well with the family routine.
Services are consultative and/or educational in order to provide family support with short term occupational therapy services. This model is a great way to gain specific tools for your child.
